  Brought our daughter here for lunch today. Restaurant was quite busy, but we were able to get a table very quickly (less than 5 min wait). Our server was courteous and friendly, the food was delicious, and overall the experience was excellent. This wasn't our first experience at this location, and I know it won't be our last!

  I live close to this location and took my family there to check it out. After a few minutes waiting we got our table. But our waitress didn't even come to our table until after 15 minutes and we didn't get our water until after 30 minutes and over 45 minutes to get our food!!! I asked the lady who seemed to be the manager what was going on and she simply said the waitress was busy and when I asked our waitress she said she didn't now it was her table. No apologies until we paid the bill and that didn't even sound sincere. There was a couple who came in about 20 minutes after us who got their drinks before us and food around the same time. There was another table who seemed to be the managers friends who also came in after us but got everything way sooner. I would also rate the food below average. Considering they are brand new this was horrible service. We will NOT be going back.

  Elephant and castle is a cute British style restaurant with an overall theme of Britain. Example is an item on their menu called bangers and chips which is sausages and french fries. When I went I had the recommended Yorkshire pudding and it was a smaller than expected size with only one Yorkie. But the taste was excellent and the sides were suited for the meal. Overall it is a fair priced place with plenty of beers on tap. Waitresses are friendly and eager to help. I recommend stopping in for a nice meal and cold beer!

  I love the atmosphere...the staff are wonderful! The food is great here but I find the portions to be inconsistent. There were six of us eating....one of us left the table still hungry ... bangers and mash...2 sausages, a scoop of mashed potatoes and gravy. Again...it was all delicious though.
